A Warlock’s Guide covering Strategy and Setup to grind out the 20k sightless eyes needed for the “Underbelly Tycoon” achievement and Rat Stallion Mount.

I had a request from a friend asking that I make a guide on how I went about farming sightless eyes for the rat stallion mount. There are a lot of “general” guides out on the internet on the Dalaran Underbelly, the mechanics, the vendors, etc. This video is about the strategy I used to take advantage of those things.

If you’re brand new to the Underbelly then I suggest you check out one of the guides linked below to get the full details of what you are about to walk into. Otherwise let’s jump in with my Warlock’s Guide to the Underbelly.

Obsessing over being “Top Damage” in a BG can ultimately hurt your team’s chances of winning. A lot has changed in PVP with the release of legion but the need to focus on objectives in BGs still remains. Watch yourself for tunnel vision and be wary of team mates that seem to focus more on numbers and less on winning.

Whether you are new to the game and rolling that first character or you’ve just found out that level cap was raised, here are 3 things you can do while leveling up to better prepare yourself for end game PvP.

1. Pull Big

  • Practice CC’ing while bursting targets. Balance defensives with everything else. Lots of people get to end game having never used their CDs so they are uncomfortable with them when it matters.

2. Learn Your Class

  • Recognize PvP Features vs PvE Features
    • PvP
      • CC Breaks
      • CC
      • Defensives/Self Preservation
      • Mobility
      • Cooldown Reduction
      • Burst Damage Increases
    • PvE
      • Cluster AoE Healing/Damage
      • “After Kill” Triggered Benefits

3. Network

  • Finding a guild you like can take time. Getting to know people well enough that they think to invite you to things takes even longer. Don’t get to end game with an empty friends list.
